CELEBRATION OF LIFE SERVICE
The annual Celebration of Life service will be held this year on July 21, 2024. SUNDAY MORNING SERVICE
People say the Silver Lake Institute is a “spiritual” place, though they may define “spiritual” in different ways. Maybe it’s quiet walks in the morning. Maybe it’s coffee on the porch. Maybe it’s children laughing. Maybe it’s sitting quietly on the blue dock. Maybe… It’s spiritual.
The Spiritual Life team offers opportunities to enhance this sense of reverence. This year we have an exciting list of Sunday morning worship activities, beginning each week at 10:30 a.m. by the blue dock (or in Hoag in case of bad weather). The schedule is as follows:

July 14 – Rev. Mary Martin
July 21 – “Celebration of Life” with Rev. Doug Wilson in Epworth Hall
July 28 – Rev. Eric Kelly. “Christmas in July”

August 18 – Rev. Sue Russell
August 25 – Rev. Marvin Krieger
September 1 – Three Voices
This year we will celebrate holy communion the first Sunday of each month. All are invited and no one is excluded.
A Meditation Walk is available with a trail beginning at the blue dock. Information is on the bulletin board at the blue dock. Do you have other ideas? We welcome your suggestions. After all, it’s “spiritual.”
